The visual effects company that has made dozens of blockbuster movies for Marvel, The Third Floor, has agreed to help Shiba Inu build the Metaverse universe.
Shiba Inu's ambitious project dedicated to virtual spaces, titled SHIB: The Metaverse, announced that it has partnered with visualization studio The Third Floor (TTF) to visualize, design, and build the metaverse world for the $SHIB community.
The Third Floor Creative Director (CCO) Dane Smith espoused that the upcoming project will be unique, fun, and stimulating. In addition, the team revealed that more than 100,000 plots of land will be created, which can be utilized for various purposes. For example, users who own lands can bring in passive input, collect in-game resources, and generate rewards.
“We are extremely excited to see the $SHIB team's vision of an artistic and engaging virtual world. Furthermore, we are excited to partner with Shiba Inu developers to continue this new way.” CCO Dane Smith said.
Shib: The Metaverse will integrate directly with Shiboshis, an NFT series that the project previously released. The project will introduce more than 100,000 pieces of land unlocked at different times. Part of these lands will be retained as a joint base for players to move around on the metaverse map. Team Shiba Inu also announced the prices of the plots depending on their location; the plots will be sold in Ethereum ($ETH).
The Third Floor is headquartered in Los Angeles with branches spread across London, Beijing, and Atlanta. The visualization studio has worked with Hollywood's top filmmakers on films and television programs, including Avatar, Gravity, Avengers: Endgame, Thor: Love and Thunder, and The Mandalorian.
The studio works closely with Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Marvel Studio, Apple TV, Sony Pictures, 21 Century Fox, Warner Bros, and MGM, among others. In addition to movies and television, The Third Floor is also involved in video games such as Tekken 6, Gears 5, and Horizon Forbidden West.
Shiba Inu is an Ethereum-based altcoin that has the Shiba Inu—a Japanese breed of hunting dog—as its mascot. The SHIB token aspires to be an Ethereum-based alternative to Dogecoin (DOGE). Unlike Bitcoin, which is designed to be scarce, SHIB was created to be intentionally abundant — with a total supply of one quadrillion. The Shiba Inu Token ecosystem supports projects such as an NFT art incubator and the development of a decentralized exchange called Shibaswap.
