Introduced in a Dec. 17 update, Bitget Wallet Rewards Hub is a built-in section of the Bitget Wallet app that brings rewards, tasks, and trading-linked incentives into one place, all executed onchain. It combines weekly programs, trading competitions, and curated onchain activities so users can earn rewards by doing things they already do in crypto, such as trading, interacting with protocols, or moving assets across networks.
The new Rewards center is now live.

Why Did Bitget Wallet Create Rewards Hub?
Crypto wallets often separate earning programs, campaigns, and promotions across different tabs or external pages. This creates friction and makes it hard for users to understand how rewards are earned or distributed.
Bitget Wallet said Rewards Hub was designed to act as a single engagement layer that connects:
- Trading activity
- Onchain exploration
- App-wide reward programs
By consolidating these elements, the wallet aims to encourage repeat usage without relying on unclear reward rules or offchain accounting. All reward logic, including draws and payouts, is handled onchain through smart contracts.
"We've seen that users build habits when multiple parts of the ecosystem feed into shared, ongoing interactions," said Jamie Elkaleh, CMO at Bitget Wallet. "Rewards Hub brings those surfaces together. Over time, it becomes an open engagement layer shaped by real onchain participation. We plan to expand Rewards Hub with additional partner ecosystems, task formats, and cross-product interactions as it evolves as a unified engagement surface within the app.
What Are the Core Modules Inside Rewards Hub?
Rewards Hub currently consists of three main modules. Each one targets a different type of user activity while sharing the same onchain reward framework.
FOMO Thursdays
FOMO Thursdays is a weekly rewards program that has been redesigned as part of the Rewards Hub launch. The new version, known as FOMO Thursdays 2.0, introduces clearer mechanics and lower entry friction.
Key elements include:
- A dual prize pool system
- Instant card draws with immediate results
- A card collection mechanic that unlocks guaranteed rewards
Instead of waiting for delayed outcomes, users see results instantly after each draw. Completing a full card set guarantees an airdrop, with a 100 percent win rate once conditions are met.
Earlier versions of FOMO Thursdays showed strong participation but also revealed confusion around rules. The updated design expands eligible actions beyond trading and simplifies how users qualify.
Trading Arena
Trading Arena links rewards directly to trading activity. It covers multiple asset types, including:
- Spot tokens
- Perpetual contracts
- Tokenized assets
Users are ranked based on their trading performance. Higher ranks receive larger rewards. The structure is familiar to experienced traders, but the key difference is that reward tracking and distribution are integrated directly into the wallet rather than managed externally.
This module is designed for users who already trade actively and want transparent incentives tied to measurable activity.
Quests
Quests focus on onchain exploration rather than trading volume. Bitget Wallet curates tasks from active protocols and partner ecosystems, giving users a guided way to try new networks or applications.
Typical quest activities may include:
- Interacting with a new DeFi protocol
- Making a first transaction on a supported chain
- Using a specific onchain feature
All rewards are distributed automatically through smart contracts. This removes manual claim steps and ensures that outcomes are verifiable onchain.
How Are Rewards Managed Onchain?
One of the defining features of Rewards Hub is that all reward logic is executed onchain. This includes:
- Eligibility checks
- Draw mechanisms
- Reward distribution
Using smart contracts ensures that rewards are not subject to manual intervention or opaque rules. Users can verify transactions and payouts directly on the blockchain.
How Does Rewards Hub Fit Into Bitget Wallet’s Security Model?
Rewards Hub operates within Bitget Wallet’s self-custody framework. Rewards are tied to onchain actions that originate from the user’s wallet, not from custodial accounts.
A few weeks before launching Rewards Hub, Bitget Wallet introduced a new login system that allows users to create and access a self-custody wallet using Google, Apple ID, or email.
How the Login System Works
The wallet uses a Trusted Execution Environment, or TEE, which is a secure area inside a device’s hardware. The process works as follows:
- A private key is generated locally on the device
- The key stays encrypted inside the TEE
- Signing happens inside the secure hardware zone
- Bitget Wallet never sees or stores the private key
This removes the need for a 12-word recovery phrase while keeping full self-custody. Users can switch devices by logging in again, similar to standard mobile apps.
Why TEE Matters
TEE-based security differs from custodial wallets and MPC wallets. Instead of splitting keys across servers, TEE keeps everything local and isolated. This reduces complexity and latency.
Bitget Wallet also uses AWS Nitro Enclaves in backend processes to keep encrypted data isolated when needed. This design mirrors security models already used in banking apps and password managers.
How Does Rewards Hub Connect With Bitget’s Broader Ecosystem?
Rewards Hub does not exist in isolation. It fits into Bitget’s wider product stack, which includes the Bitget exchange, Launchpool, and Universal Exchange (UEX).
Example: Launchpool and THQ
On the same day Rewards Hub was announced, Bitget listed Theoriq (THQ) on its Launchpool and spot market. The Launchpool campaign offered over 3 million THQ in rewards to users who locked BGB or THQ during a fixed period.
This highlights how Bitget separates different engagement layers:
- Launchpool focuses on curated project exposure and staking-style rewards
- Rewards Hub focuses on recurring, onchain activity inside the wallet
Together, they cover both long-term participation and ongoing usage.
Universal Exchange and Onchain Access
Bitget’s UEX model allows users to discover and trade millions of tokens across networks from a single account. Rewards Hub complements this by encouraging users to interact directly with onchain applications rather than only trading listed assets.
Real-World Payments and Practical Use
Bitget Wallet has also expanded into real-world payments, which adds context to Rewards Hub’s focus on everyday activity.
In Nigeria and Mexico, Bitget Wallet introduced a Bank Transfer feature that lets users convert stablecoins like USDT and USDC into local currency and send funds directly to bank accounts.
Key details include:
- Support for over 45 banks in Nigeria and 35 in Mexico
- Settlements often complete within minutes
- Transfers supported across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Base
Conclusion
Bitget Wallet Rewards Hub is a unified, onchain rewards system that connects trading, protocol interaction, and weekly programs inside a self-custody wallet. Its three modules, FOMO Thursdays, Trading Arena, and Quests, cover different user behaviors while sharing transparent reward logic.
Rewards Hub reflects a shift toward making onchain activity easier to track, verify, and reward. Rather than promising future outcomes, it focuses on structuring how users interact with Web3 today.
