Check Out the Binance CEO’s Most Popular Tweets

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) is one of the most prominent influencers in the cryptocurrency industry, a sector where the dominant social media platform is Twitter. So it’s no wonder that CZ is an active Twitter user with some 8 million followers.

But what are CZ’s most popular tweets of all time? We used Twitter analytics tool TweetSort to rank CZ’s tweets by likes and retweets. Check out what we found:

Most Retweets

This missive from November probably ranks among the most infamous tweets of 2022. In this message, CZ revealed that Binance had reached a tentative agreement to purchase and shore up Sam Bankman-Fried’s crumbling FTX/Alameda empire.

As it turned out, this was a case where CZ would have been trying to catch a falling knife, and Binance almost immediately walked away from the “non-binding” Letter of Intent after due diligence procedures were initiated.

Most Likes

This tweet from August wasn’t retweeted as many times as the FTX tweet was, but it did attract way more likes (>136K vs. <77K), maybe because CZ was sending out positive vibes during a crypto market that was already tough, even before SBF’s house of cards collapsed.
