Pi Network's roadmap release faces unexpected delays, sparking anticipation among users. When will the mainnet roadmap be released?
Pi Network, a mobile mining blockchain platform, has recently stirred emotion its user base with an unexpected twist in its mainnet roadmap.
According to a disclosure by a core moderator, cited by Pi News Media, the release of the new roadmap, which outlines the platform’s plans and developments, including details about the Open Mainnet launch, may be released later, on a yet unspecified date, this year.
This comes after an earlier statement in September by the Pi Network CEO, Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, who had assured the community that the roadmap would be unveiled in two phases, with the initial version set to be released in mid-October. The recent update, however, suggests a potential delay beyond the initially promised date, sparking a blend of anticipation and frustration among its users.
While the exact reasons for the recent update remain undisclosed, Pi News Media advised users and potential investors to stay tuned for mid-October, as more information is expected to be shared by the Pi Core Team. The upcoming updates are crucial in providing insights into the platform’s future strategies and developments, which, in turn, are pivotal in steering the direction of the Pi Network in the competitive blockchain space.
In the meantime, the Pi Network community is left to await further details, with hopes that the forthcoming roadmap will bring positive advancements and stability to the platform.
Pi Network is a mobile mining blockchain with an application that lets people earn Pi coins by doing simple tasks on their phones. However, the project remains in its development stage with delivery of an open mainnet still a matter of speculation, with no launch date confirmed.
With this in mind, the protocol remains in its testnet stage and will apparently go live when many users (Pioneers) complete the mandatory KYC procedure while the core team works on developing its ecosystem.
Pi Network is also reported to be under investigation by authorities in Vietnam and users should exercise a high degree of caution when interacting with the project and ensure they have conducted sufficient research before doing so.
