MoonPay Enables DOGE Payments Across 6,000 Global Merchants

MoonPay and House of Doge are partnering to bring native Dogecoin payments to more than 6,000 merchants worldwide via MoonPay Commerce, with a Q3 2026 launch planned.

MoonPay Enables DOGE Payments Across 6,000 Global Merchants

@MoonPay and @HouseofDoge have announced a partnership to integrate native $DOGE payments across a global network of more than 6,000 merchants, marking one of the most ambitious pushes yet to bring Dogecoin into mainstream retail commerce.

How the Integration Works

The collaboration will enable native Dogecoin payments across MoonPay's existing merchant network and introduce DOGE Pay, a new Dogecoin-first checkout solution designed for new House of Doge merchant partners. Powered by MoonPay Commerce, the solution is planned for rollout in Q3 2026 and will allow House of Doge's growing pipeline of merchant partners to embed Dogecoin payments into their checkout flows, with streamlined onboarding and a competitive 1% processing fee.

A key feature of the setup is instant settlement. Businesses accepting $DOGE will receive payment in fiat or stablecoins, effectively removing exposure to Dogecoin's price volatility. That design choice lowers the barrier for merchants who may be crypto-curious but wary of holding a speculative asset on their balance sheet.

From Meme Coin to Payment Rail

By aligning infrastructure, merchant enablement, and real-time settlement capabilities, House of Doge and MoonPay Commerce aim to rapidly expand Dogecoin acceptance across global commerce and deliver scalable, low-friction payment infrastructure for merchants.

Marco Margiotta, CEO of House of Doge, said: "Through this collaboration with MoonPay, we are embedding native Dogecoin acceptance directly into merchant infrastructure at global scale. By reducing friction for both consumers and businesses, we are accelerating Dogecoin's evolution into a mainstream payment method."

MoonPay President Keith A. Grossman added: "Dogecoin has one of the largest and most passionate communities in crypto, but until now, there hasn't been infrastructure to match that energy at the point of sale. By bringing native Dogecoin support to MoonPay Commerce and co-building DOGE Pay with House of Doge, we're giving thousands of merchants a direct line to millions of holders who are ready to spend."

The deal is part of a broader infrastructure push by House of Doge, the official corporate arm of the Dogecoin Foundation, which is committed to advancing $DOGE as a widely accepted and decentralized global currency. The MoonPay deal sits alongside existing relationships with Robinhood, 21Shares, and Paxos, each targeting a different slice of the market.
