InterLink Surpasses 9 Million Users Ahead Of Protocol Mainnet Activation

The announcement marks a significant step for a network built on the principle that every participant must be a verified human.

A Verified User Base Sets InterLink Apart

The growth figures carry weight beyond the headline number. InterLink's user count represents verified human identities, not wallets or accounts that could be bots, but real individuals who have gone through an identity verification process and are actively participating in the network. That distinction is central to InterLink's design. Using face scanning and liveness detection, users verify their identity without exposing personal data and become Human Nodes, while the network binds each identity to a real human, enabling Sybil resistance and trust-based applications across Web3.

The pace of adoption has been notable. The network added its most recent million users in just over a month, accelerating from the 6 million milestone rather than slowing down after it. The project has now pushed well beyond 9 million, approaching the 10-million target that the project had previously set as a key fundamental demand driver for token utility by year-end.

Mainnet Transition and What Comes Next

The development team is currently finalizing the validator architecture and token distribution frameworks needed to convert this large retail base into active network contributors. The protocol runs a dual-token model: $ITLG serves as the genesis token, earned exclusively through mining by verified humans, governing the InterLink DAO and playing a critical role in expanding the human network, while $ITL is the core utility and strategic token structured for integration with ecosystem partners and institutions.

According to the project's latest official communications, the Private Mainnet phase is now beginning, bringing live blockchain infrastructure online before future token migration, payments, and ecosystem expansion. The Interlink mainnet is designed as a payment-ready Layer-1 blockchain optimized for high transaction throughput and real-world usage, with an initial target of 10,000 payment points suggesting a focus on commercial scalability from day one.

On the compliance side, users who completed verification before the official deadline are expected to receive direct migration access, while others may eventually access $ITL through OTC markets. The team has also emphasized that all tokens entering the Private Mainnet ecosystem must pass AML and compliance checks. Exchange listings remain unconfirmed. Community discussions continue around future exchange listings, but no exchange has been officially confirmed yet.
