Binance has inked two memorandums of understanding (MoU) with two universities, National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taiwan and the University of Wollongong (UOW) in Dubai.

The two MoUs were signed to increase Binance’s exposure at the academic level and the deals were signed on Thursday in each country, respectively. The MoUs will focus on developing Web3 talent in each location.

NCCU president Li Tsai-yen presided over the signing in Taiwan and was quoted in Taipei Times saying: “as blockchain technology becomes more developed, demand for Web3 specialists will grow.”

The Taipei Times reported that the MOU will allow NCCU and Binance “to prepare students for future careers in Web3 through online learning resources, internships, curriculum design, workshops and joint research.”

Binance Academy oversees the Binance University Outreach Program and has over 100 global partners, including major universities in the United States like Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stanford.

NCCU is the first university in Taiwan to join the Binance University Outreach Program.
