Pi Ad Network Opens to Whole Pi Network Ecosystem

Pi Network has reached a significant milestone with the expansion of its Pi Ad Network, which is now accessible to all apps listed in the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface. Initially launched as a pilot program with five community apps, the ad network is designed to harness the collective attention of Pi’s millions of Pioneers to create a sustainable revenue stream for developers while enhancing the utility of the Pi cryptocurrency. 

This move, announced on April 10 via a blog post by the mobile mining blockchain platform, marks a step toward transforming the Pi ecosystem into a thriving platform for innovation and economic activity.

From Pilot to Platform-Wide Access

The Pi Ad Network was first introduced in 2024 as a pilot program, allowing a select group of developers to test and refine the system. Five community apps participated during the pilot, iterating alongside the Pi team to optimize the network’s functionality. “Developers can apply to join Pi Ad Network now, and join the first group of Pi Apps that participated in the pilot program, who are now generating and receiving ad revenue,” Pi Network’s announcement read.  

However, the network emphasized that applying does not guarantee approval, as apps must meet strict Mainnet ecosystem listing requirements. Nonetheless, the expansion underscores Pi’s commitment to creating platform-level utility, leveraging the collective resources of its global community to foster real-world use cases for its native asset.
