chain

As $PX gains traction through gameplay and community rewards, the notpixel community awaits the next step: a potential centralized exchange listing.

The Not Pixel community has been closely watching the $PX token’s journey since its debut on TON-based decentralized exchanges (DEXs) like STON.fi and DeDust. As a Telegram-based crypto game within the Notcoin ecosystem, Not Pixel has carved out a niche with its collaborative digital art canvas and blockchain integration. Players earn PX Points through painting pixels, completing tasks, and forming squads, fostering a sense of teamwork.

Yet, the question on everyone’s mind remains: when will $PX list on a centralized exchange (CEX)? This potential milestone has sparked anticipation among users, with expectations running high for what it could mean for the token’s value and visibility.

Not Pixel, launched in September 2024, is the third game in the Notcoin ecosystem, following Notcoin and Lost Dogs. The game leverages Telegram’s Open Network (TON) and integrates with communities like $DOGS, creating a connected experience within the crypto gaming space. The $PX token, with a capped supply of 250 million, was designed to reward community engagement, allocating 80% of its distribution to active participants, miners, and Notcoin holders. Since its initial listing on DEXes in January, the token has been a focal point for investors. However, to date, no official CEX listing has been confirmed, leaving the community eagerly anticipating.

Growing Speculation and Project Signals

Recently, Not Pixel reaffirmed its commitment to supporting $PX. The team emphasized that they have not sold a single PX token and are actively buying more, signaling confidence in the token’s future.

This move was intended to reassure investors amidst market fluctuations, with the post noting that “weak hands are leaving, pixel hands are here.”

On March 24, the project also hinted at a potential centralized exchange listing with a “When CEX” post on its official X handle, sparking a wave of responses from community members who see such a move as key to wider adoption and price appreciation.

Community Reactions: Cautious Optimism

Community responses to the $PX token’s recent performance show cautious optimism. Long-term holders have shared their commitment to staying invested as the price moves upward. Many in the community believe a listing on a centralized exchange (CEX) could spark further gains, bringing more liquidity and attracting a wider group of investors.

Not all feedback has been positive. Concerns have surfaced about transparency, especially regarding large sales at $0.9 on the listing day. Some community members questioned how these early transactions took place before most could access their tokens. These issues have increased calls for clearer communication from the project’s team.

Looking Ahead: Roadmap and Expectations

The discussion around a CEX listing comes as a natural step for Not Pixel, following its initial launch on decentralized exchanges (DEXs). This move opened the door for growth, and many see a CEX listing as the next logical phase.

Notcoin’s recent rise to a $2.5 billion valuation has set high expectations. Supporters hope Not Pixel can follow a similar path if it manages current challenges and meets investor expectations.

As of now, no specific timeline has been shared by the Not Pixel team. While the community had hoped for news regarding a CEX listing, the March 31st roadmap update made no such mention. Instead, it detailed upcoming Q2 initiatives, including PX staking, the Burning Pixel Event, and Pixel Skins.

For users, the anticipation of a CEX listing continues to grow, driven by expectations of increased value and visibility. Whether this milestone will materialize in 2025 remains uncertain, but the community’s hope and scrutiny are palpable, as they await the next chapter in Not Pixel’s evolution.
