Jasmy, the company behind the development of the JASMY ecosystem, has shared its hotly-anticipated 2024 roadmap, exclusively with BSCN. Here’s what you need to know…
Jasmy ($JASMY), the brainchild of Jasmy Incorporated, a Tokyo-based pioneer in Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, has recently revealed its highly-anticipated roadmap for 2024.
As a cryptocurrency project firmly grounded on the Ethereum blockchain, Jasmy is dedicated to creating a secure and decentralized platform for data exchange and ownership.
By combining blockchain technology with IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), Jasmy aims to give users complete control over their personal information.
“Jasmy aims for a future where devices and individuals are connected and can securely and conveniently exchange data with each other. Most data comes from IoT devices. The main goal is to make data secure and valuable by linking this data to individuals” - Hiroshi Harada, CFO at Jasmy
Without further ado, let’s take a look at the roadmap…
“In 2024, we want to focus specifically on data integration with devices. As a step in this direction, we decided to collaborate with a global company that has a large amount of data and is exploring the possibilities of utilizing it. We will enhance our platform for device-specific data and its utilization” - Hiroshi Harada, CFO at Jasmy
JASMY, the native cryptocurrency of the Jasmy ecosystem, serves as the backbone for all activities within the platform.
Founded in April 2016 by former Sony executives, including Kunitake Ando, Kazumasa Sato, Masanobu Yoshida, and Hiroshi Harada, Jasmy aims to establish a world where users retain ownership of their data without compromising on privacy and security.
The project has been dedicated to constructing a decentralized and democratic environment over the past few years, aiming to empower individuals to control their data securely.
Jasmy operates as an ERC-20-based token, initially developed and launched on the Ethereum blockchain. Through Jasmy, users can benefit from Ethereum's processing power, advanced functionality for dApps, and robust security infrastructure.
With Internet of Things (IoT) devices on the rise in the era dubbed "the century of data," extensive data exchange has become possible.
However, this landscape also brings heightened risks of data leakage and misuse. Recognizing these challenges, Jasmy has proactively designed its platform to prioritize data security.
Jasmy provides a secure IoT platform, facilitating information exchange among users while ensuring optimal data security. In addition to providing centralized management solutions, the platform also provides essential equipment like communication modules and wearables.
