BNB Launches MVB S9 : The 16 Crypto Projects Selected

BNB Chain has announced the selection of 16 early-stage projects for Season 9 of its Most Valuable Builder (MVB) Accelerator Program. The initiative, jointly organized with YZi Labs (formerly known as Binance Labs) and CMC Labs, aims to support promising Web3 developers with resources to expand the BNB Chain ecosystem and help bring the next billion users to Web3.

The four-week accelerator will officially begin on April 5 with a two-day offline event in Hong Kong, coinciding with the Hong Kong Web3 Festival and BNB Super Meetup. The program received over 500 applications, with only 16 projects making the final cut after a selective evaluation process.

AI Focus Dominates Selection

Eight of the 16 selected projects operate in the artificial intelligence sector:

• BitGPT: A decentralized network for AI Agents
• Datai Network: Transforms raw blockchain data into structured, AI-ready intelligence
• Echopy: AI Portfolio Optimizer on BNB Chain for analyzing market trends
• Eurexa AI: On-chain tokenization platform for robotics
• Everlyn: Fast video generator for Web3
• JoJoWorld: Decentralized AI Spatial 3D data platform
• Super Protocol: Collaborative confidential AI marketplace
• TermiX: AI-driven Web3 OS with agent integration and zero-code creation

DeFi Innovation

Two projects represent the decentralized finance sector:

• BitFi: CeDeFi platform maximizing BTC holdings via yield-bearing solutions
• LIKWID: The first fully permissionless, oracle-less margin trading protocol

Emerging Web3 Categories

The remaining projects cover various specialized sectors:

DePin (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure):

• XPIN: AI-powered consumer DePIN platform with decentralized wireless technology

DeSci (Decentralized Science):

• Citadel Labs: Launchpad for funding deep technology projects
• Stadium Science: Prediction market platform for accelerating scientific research

Gaming and Entertainment:

• Oneverse: Web2 games marketplace in Southeast Asia bridging traditional gamers to Web3
• TCOM Global: Decentralized IP governance protocol combining AI and Web3

Infrastructure:

• Pieverse: Decentralized Time Economy Layer for human attention and engagement

Program Structure and Investment Opportunities

Participants will access a specialized curriculum addressing early-stage Web3 project needs, including tokenomics design, fundraising strategies, team building, and talent acquisition. On April 24, the program will conclude, and project teams will pitch to investors. Anyone can tune in from anywhere in the world to watch Demo Day and see promising companies in the Web3 space showcase their innovative projects. YZi Labs will make investment decisions based on project performance throughout the accelerator and Demo Day presentations.

The MVB program has demonstrated consistent growth, with 48 projects incubated in the previous year's program (Seasons 7 and 8).
