Axie Infinity Product Lead Responds to ‘Misleading’ Media Narratives

Philip La, product lead for the popular PlayAndEarn blockchain game, Axie Infinity, released an article reacting to recent negative press about Axie.

 The Green Ranger, his community moniker, published an article on Substack July 10 that focuses on key points that La thinks the media failed to highlight when creating their articles.

 “I’ve read quite a few negative pieces around Axie Infinity lately,” La began his piece saying. “Of course, as we enter a bear market these articles are expected, but internally the energy is more lively than ever! With the strong negative bias in recent articles, I feel compelled to tell our side of the story where I have seen inaccuracies and misleading conclusions.” 

La highlights that Axie is transitioning to Origin after completing its final Classic competitive season. Origin is still in early access and the current state of the game does not paint an accurate picture of the overall potential of the ecosystem. The team is still building despite the bear market and having taken a huge blow due to the Ronin heist, but La reiterates that they are here to stay for the long term.
