New Pool for TUSD and FRAX stablecoins is set to debut on Wombat Exchange Dec. 2.
Stablecoin swap Wombat Exchange continues to add to its product offerings, announcing that on Dec. 2 it will launch a new Innovation Pool for $TUSD and $FRAX.
The new pool will be segregated from its existing Main and Side Pools so that volatility in any single pool will not affect the entire protocol.
According to a post on Medium, Wombat Exchange considers $TUSD and $FRAX to be relatively volatile compared to “time-tested” stablecoins in the Main Pool such as $BUSD, $USDC, $USDT and $DAI.
Like with the Side Pool, which includes $HAY, the Innovation Pool will have $BUSD listed as a routing asset to enable inter-pool swapping.
“Wombat’s Innovation Pool implements trending coins so users have more options. We are happy to bring in choice for our users with different pegging mechanism. Throwing risky tokens into the same pool where the well-established ones live can harm the exchange and its users. We bring you more stablecoins variety while minimizing risks for you,” according to the Medium post.
Wombat Exchange is a multi-chain stableswap focused on fueling DeFi growth and promoting its product’s scalability, accessibility, and efficiency in the multi-chain space. The protocol allows users to swap stablecoins at minimal slippage and stake at maximum yield.
