NFTs IRL in LA

Drawing top NFT protocols, experts and enthusiasts, the NFT Expoverse is one of the world’s largest real-life NFT advocacy events.

The event held in Los Angeles from July 29-31 featured exhibitions, sponsors and speakers on Web3, blockchain and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs).

BSC News Director of Content Kyle Heise was on the scene conducting interviews with project teams and NFT fans. Let’s hear what they had to say about their NFT Expoverse experience:

Cross-chain PlaytoEarn game Cryptoblades was one of the event sponsors. CFO Lanaz told BSC News:

"Most European conferences I've been to are not NFT friendly. They are more geared towards Bitcoin maxis. Mass adoption can only occur with the proper education on the little ones. It's really cool to see the evolution of the space away from PFP projects, and I'm 100% bullish on teams that are building utilities."

Team members from crypto platform Lunar said the healthy turnout was a step in the right direction to build bullish momentum for the industry. Co-Founder Moonshot and Dark Pixel said:

"The main problem in DeFi right now is that it's very spaced out and convoluted, so we're bringing everything into one platform for users to access without confusing the users."
"At the end of the day, the user needs to get from point A to point B, he doesn't necessarily need to know the details behind it."

Philip, CEO of CryptoBlades developer Riveted Games, said:

"For the first edition NFT Expoverse, they really hit it out of the park by bringing in a variety of NFT projects ranging from PFP to utilities to infrastructure. It’s been a very great opportunity to network with people in the space and build deeper connections."

The three-day program was packed with variety, and the experience differed from person-to-person and day-to-day. An NFT connoisseur named Bryant said:

"Friday was boring compared to other conventions I've been to, but Saturday and Sunday were fun. I decided to interact more with people and have them sign my shirt and I did hashtags for companies that showed up."
