With this partnership, Jasmy Personal Data Locker (PDL) will enable users to control their data while enhancing security.
Jasmy Incorporated and Panasonic Advanced Technology have teamed up to develop a platform to connect information generated by individuals with information generated by things (IoT), enabling secure and efficient data processing, according to a press release shared with BSCN.
Through a variety of internet services, IT giants have traditionally monopolized personal data. However, Jasmy and Panasonic aim to change this landscape through their collaborative efforts.
At the heart of their project lies the Personal Data Locker (PDL), a secure online storage and management system provided by Jasmy. Unlike conventional approaches, PDL ensures data security and empowers users to willingly share their data while retaining control over its usage.
With the growing number of internet-connected devices, the scope of IoT has expanded exponentially. These devices generate a vast array of data, demanding rapid processing, stringent security, and real-time responsiveness.
As part of their collaboration, Jasmy's and Panasonic are jointly developing platforms that leverage blockchain technology and IoT, allowing for innovative applications across diverse industries.
With agile development methodologies and Web3 technology, the collaborative platform prioritizes speed and versatility. By streamlining development processes, the goal is to deliver a platform that appeals to a broad spectrum of users and industries.
The approach enhances efficiency and facilitates the creation of adaptable services that are compatible with different devices, thus adjusting to evolving user needs.
Integrating personal and IoT-generated data requires the creation of trust, characterized by the seamless transfer and delegation of authority between individuals and entities. In addition, accessible development environments are essential for accelerating service innovation. Accordingly, Jasmy and Panasonic will support data democracy principles to enable user-centric data utilization environments.
Using their respective strengths and experiences, both Jasmy and Panasonic have agreed to collaborate to build a widely used platform. As per the press release, further details about the collaboration will be released in the future.
Earlier, on March 23, Jasmy released its 2024 roadmap, introducing a range of developments to come this year, like the development of Carbon Carbon Credit Exchange, AI Customization, and more.
Jasmy Incorporated specializes in the development and provision of IoT platforms aimed at revolutionizing everyday life experiences. With a mission to facilitate easy, safe, and secure utilization of connected devices, Jasmy is dedicated to restoring data sovereignty to its rightful owners through innovative IoT and blockchain solutions.
As a subsidiary of Panasonic Holdings Corporation, Panasonic Advanced Technology Development Co., Ltd. focuses on software and system development, particularly in the mobility sector.
