BNB Chain Debate Competition

BNB Chain has announced a Debate Competition to occur on January 5, where top projects from three different categories will debate what will be the hottest trend of the upcoming year. Users who participate will have a chance to win part of a $9,000 prize pool.

The debate will combine the tech of the SocialFi app Galxe with classic debate while encouraging users to actively participate by minting an NFT to vote. The platform is a great display of Web3 technological use cases. The projects on hand – Stader for DeFi, Era7 for GameFi, and Yuliverse for SocialFi – will compete for users' NFT votes on a live stream over Binance Live and YouTube, according to the Dec. 20 blog announcement from Christopher Duggan.

“Web3 projects battle for your vote in BNB Chain's first Debate Competition!” the Duggan writes. “But your vote isn't just for show - pick the winning team and you stand a chance to share the $9K prize pool.”

Users who want to participate will need a special voting NFT. Beginning December 21, users can complete the simple social media tasks to mint a free voting NFT on Galxe. 90 users who choose the winning side will have a chance to win $100.

The voting portal will be forthcoming through social media channels, according to the blog.

“In the next few days, BNB Chain will share a link on Twitter that'll take you to the voting portal on DappBay. Be on the lookout for that, and make sure to mint your Voting NFT starting December 21st!” the blog writes.
