The Ice team is trying to ensure optimal performance before the official launch. The team has also promised users that a new date would be announced shortly.
The Ice Network team has urged Snowmen to remain patient while working on several bugs and problems delaying the official launch. As expected, the highly anticipated “Global Currency Reset” will not take effect until all issues are resolved by the core team.
To keep users updated with the developments, the team published a tweet, providing the numerous updates to fix the bugs detected. As shared by the team, there has been significant progress with its development ahead of the official mainnet launch. Some of the improvements include completing the web lite version for IOS users, bug fixes on the mobile application, a new app version for Chinese users, and more.
After releasing the updates, the team disclosed that a new date for the official launch would be announced. However, there would be a period of beta testing to ensure that the updates are effective.
“Following the release of these fixes and updates, we'll conduct 1-2 weeks of beta-testing to ensure optimal performance. Once testing is complete, we'll announce a new release date for the community,” the Ice team wrote.
Meanwhile, the protocol has published a community update video for users to understand its current situation better. You can watch the video in the tweet below to learn more. BSC News will continue to follow the protocol’s development in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) space.
Ice is a decentralized network with a digital currency that users can mine for free with their mobile phones. The protocol is controlled by a DAO, allowing users to have a say in what is being developed.
Users can join the ice network via an invitation from an existing member to start earning & building their own micro-communities immediately.
