The update includes the addition of a new NFT character named Skearrót.
Floki has announced a new 0.2.1 patch for its PlayToEarn (P2E) Non-Fungible Token (NFT)-based Valhalla Battle Arena with many innovations in terms of characters, features, and fixing bugs encountered in the game, divided into two main parts.
Floki will add an NFT character named Skearrót, a brand new Vera brand in Valhalla, to increase the diversity of gameplay for users, with four unique combat abilities designed and created by the development team.
Vera are upgradeable NFTs found in the world of Valhalla. Vera can be captured or purchased from other players and used in the game's turn-based combat system. Visit here to learn more about the new things Skearrót will bring to Valhalla shortly.
In addition, Floki also surprised the community by changing the appearance of Vera Húshroom, in an attempt to make this character more unique and attractive than the original version.
In part two of the update, Floki will dive into the general changes of the game with a focus on new features added to improve the user experience.
The abilities of Vera will be tweaked and upgraded to ensure more balanced gameplay across character lines. In addition, in-game adjustment functions such as interactive cameras and game sounds have been included in this update.
Finally, specific gameplay mechanics and events are explained explicitly by the $FLOKI team and divided into two primary standards, Rules for Vera Collision and Rules for Terrain Shift priority, to make it easier for new users to understand how the game works the first time you approach Valhalla Metaverse.
“Hope you enjoy the new features in the game and have fun testing all new possibilities with Skearrót and their interesting abilities!” The Floki team said in a blog post.
Although the Alpha version of Valhalla Battle Arena was only released in May 2022, the new 0.2.1 patch has proven the remarkable development speed of the Floki team.
The Valhalla team has been working on NFT games since 2017, with a 15-person development team and advisors with experience developing successful mainstream games. The team aims to bring the Valhalla GameFi metaverse the Optimistic testnet, according to the 2022 roadmap update released on July 8.
The Valhalla patches precede the full release of the game anticipated later this year. Also, Floki intends to launch a guild system for Valhalla, the model many NFT Play-to-Earn platforms use today to help users earn money from participating in the game.
Floki began with a tweet from Elon Musk. When the billionaire announced he would name his Shiba Inu puppy Floki, it created a deluge of ‘Floki’ dogcoins. The most successful of these is Floki. Floki is currently the third most popular meme token on the market behind Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. It is backed by a community of committed enthusiasts and a strong marketing campaign.
