Chainlink Expands Ecosystem With The Graph, and Mento

The Graph will adopt Chainlink’s CCIP standard to enable secure cross-chain transfers of its native token GRT across Arbitrum, Base, and Solana, enhancing access and usability.

Chainlink, the blockchain industry’s leading oracle network, has made advances in expanding its ecosystem. Chainlink’s recent integrations with The Graph Protocol and Mento strengthen its role as a central force in cross-chain connectivity and decentralized data infrastructure.
The Graph Embraces Chainlink CCIP
The Graph, the decentralized indexing protocol that powers much of the Web3 data layer, is adopting Chainlink’s CCIP to enable seamless cross-chain transfers of its native token, GRT. Initially, the integration will support GRT transfers across Arbitrum, Base, and Solana—three major chains at the forefront of scalable Web3 infrastructure.
The Graph is preparing for a multi-chain Web3 future, and CCIP is a key tool in that vision. The initial rollout focuses on laying the groundwork: secure bridges and the infrastructure required for reliable token movement.
Over time, The Graph plans to expand GRT’s cross-chain functionality to include staking, delegation, and query fee payments on multiple Layer 2s. If successful, developers and delegators will gain more flexibility in how and where they use GRT, without compromising on security or decentralization.

Mento Adopts Chainlink Price Feeds
Mento, the FX and stablecoin platform built on the Celo blockchain, is also turning to Chainlink—but for a different purpose. The platform has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds to power its virtual Automated Market Maker (vAMM), which currently supports over $20 billion in annualized transaction volume across 15 stablecoins.
For Mento, Chainlink solves a core problem: ensuring stablecoins are accurately priced against global fiat currencies. These include cUSD, cEUR, cJPY, cAUD, and several other stable currencies tied to both developed and emerging markets.
With Chainlink’s Price Feeds, Mento gets access to pricing data aggregated from hundreds of exchanges. These prices are reportedly volume-weighted, outlier-resistant, and delivered on-chain with transparency. The goal is to ensure that token swaps on the Mento Asset Exchange mirror real-world Forex rates as closely as possible.
Per reports, Chainlink’s Price Feeds are run by independent node operators with a strong track record—even under network stress or gas fee spikes.

Solana Gains Chainlink CCIP Support
Just a few days ago, a major milestone in Chainlink’s expansion came with the launch of CCIP v1.6 on Solana. This brings secure cross-chain communication and asset transfers to one of the highest-performing Layer 1 chains in the crypto space. With this rollout, assets from Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, and others can now move into Solana’s high-speed, low-cost environment.
CCIP not only provides secure asset movement but also slashes costs and simplifies system architecture. That makes it easier to scale applications across multiple chains.
Projects such as Maple Finance, Shiba Inu, and Backed Finance—collectively representing over $19 billion in market value—are already eyeing Solana through the lens of CCIP. New adopters like ElizaOS, The Graph, Pepe, and Zeus Network are expected to follow suit.
Solana’s strengths—throughput, cost-efficiency, and a vibrant developer ecosystem—are now matched with Chainlink’s security infrastructure. This synergy makes it possible to build the next generation of cross-chain apps that don’t compromise on speed or safety.
