BNB Chain Meets Harvard

BNB Chain recently partnered with the EasyA and Harvard Crypto community to organize the Hack Boston 2022 student hackathon event

The winners that emerged from the event were Frens Protocol, Vermax, and Cryptolice.

Frens Protocol

Frens Protocol is a decentralized user-owned social media platform that any game can integrate to help players discover other friends.

Frens Protocol developer Nishay Madhani, Developer at Frens Protocol, said “There are hundreds of Web3 and Metaverse games, and the future of Blockchain is more exciting than ever. But the games and accounts leads to isolation of players identities and in-game assets.”

Each user that onboards unto the Frens platform would be issued a Soulbound Token representing their profile.

Vermax (Assembler)

The Assembler project leverages BNB Chain’s AvengerDAO API to scan blockchain contract addresses and offer audit reports as well as security ratings that indicate the level of risk associated with a specific contract.

“Scams are often common in the Blockchain Industry, whether it is a cryptocurrency or an NFT . The AvengerDAO API provides audits and security ratings for all NFTs and Crypto Contracts. Using this API, we can determine the security rating for any NFT or Contracts that are present on a webpage, whether they are hazardous or not ” Vamshi Paili, Vermax Project Lead, told BSC News.

Cryptolice

Cryptolice is a multi-chain dApp for secure Web3 contract detection. The project uses the security monitoring API system from Avenger DAO to protect users from possible exploits, scams, and malicious actors.

Users who report malicious activity will receive a free NFT.
