GoPlus Security will look to use the funds to build out their tech and hire more team members.
GoPlus Security has been confirmed to receive backing from Binance Labs for a second private fundraising round. The GoPlus Security team will focus on team expansion and tech improvement for its next steps.
Binance Labs confirmed in a December 7 press release (PR) that it will support GoPlus Security as it prepares to launch its security service marketplace by the end of 2022.
“GoPlus Security team has three main objectives to proceed with the next stage of development, further expansion of the coverage of GoPlus Security API, building the security service platform and security service marketplace, and building a decentralized security infrastructure,” Eskil, Co-Founder of GoPlus Security said in the PR.
GoPlus Security plans to use the funding to develop technology for a new security services marketplace and further grow and expand the team. Co-Founder Eskil expressed joy to have an entity like Binance Labs included in their second fundraising round.
“The team is at the stage to onboard 20 different types of security services and solutions, and to decentralize the security service even more by using the modular blockchain or ZKP technology. We are happy to be with Binance Labs in this journey,” Eskil added.
GoPlus Security is a Web3 security infrastructure project that uses multidimensional risk detection to build a safer Web3 environment for thirteen major blockchain networks.
GoPlus Security uses a real-time and automatic security detection platform that covers over 2 million daily data calls that protect blockchain assets from malicious activity.
“Security is foundational to the ever-growing Web3 ecosystem and community,” added Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and Head of Binance Labs. “By supporting consumer-facing solutions like GoPlus Security, we hope to see how security services to end users can evolve and prosper. ”
No investment figure was confirmed in the press release.
As the venture capital arm and accelerator of Binance, Binance Labs is on the continued lookout for the next big Web3 innovation.
