Ben Armstrong Reveals Affair During Emotional Video About Exit From BitBoy Crypto

Late on August 31, BitBoy Crypto’s official YouTube channel, which boasts a subscribership of 1.44 million, published a video of the recently pushed-out Ben Armstrong, whose departure was announced on Twitter on August 28.

The video begins with BitBoy Crypto’s TJ, explaining that the upcoming clip was received from Ben, and that he had asked them to share it.

The video itself shows Armstrong with his wife, Bethany, and involves BitBoy Crypto’s former host apologizing (to both specific individuals and the wider community) and accepting responsibility for his past actions. 

Armstrong further offers some praise for BitBoy Crypto, its various brands and assets, as well as the BitBoy team itself. Armstrong also expressed a desire to “save” his former organization, and sheds further light on controversies surrounding alleged drug-abuse and his extra-marital affair…

Ben Armstrong’s Affair

Armstrong confirms in his video statement that he did indeed have an affair with someone other than his wife, Bethany, and that said affair continued for “a while”.

“A lot of people know at this point, and if you don’t you’re gonna know now, I had an affair”, said Armstrong.

The video does not clarify precisely who the aforementioned affair involved, however, voices on X (Twitter) are pointing to Cassandra Wolfe, who goes by the handle @DuchessOfDeFi.

Alleged Drug-Abuse

Speculation has occurred with drug-abuse being pointed to as one of the factors behind Armstrong’s unexpected departure from his former channel. However, the video saw Armstrong clarify that he hasn’t “done cocaine” or “meth” or “drugs like that”, and that his drug use revolved around “diet pills” and “some steroids”.

According to the former YouTube star, the use was undertaken in an attempt to get back into shape, and that he was unable to fully see the impact it was having on himself and those around him.
