Aptos Foundation Launches $20 Million Artist Grants Program to Boost Web3 Creativity

Artists will receive funding and support to make the most of the Aptos ecosystem, as well as access to a dedicated community of creatives for idea sharing and project planning.

A Web3 Platform for Artists

Aptos Foundation announced a new Artist Grants Program (AGP) worth $20 million to attract top talent to Web3, rewarding artists for creating art on Aptos and creating a thriving community of creators. The initiative will build on the $3 million resources already delivered to artists looking to utilize blockchain and Web3 to scale.

A registration form will be available on the Aptos Foundation website for artists who want to be considered for the program. Those who are approved will get funding and access to Aptos' infrastructure and direct access to Aptos' core team for as-needed support.

Additionally, they will have access to an exclusive community of other creatives to share ideas and plan projects.

In addition, artists and creators selected for grants can work directly with Aptos Foundation to build new programs to support creators. According to Aptos, AGP differs from similar programs in that it deploys capital quickly and efficiently while scaling artists' impact.

“Other grant programs in Web3 bring artists and creators into a rigid, well-established system created with little or no input during development,” Aptos Foundation said in a recent statement. “Aptos Foundation is purposefully bringing in artists and creators early to help shape the values and diversity of the AGP community.”

Aptos has grown its investment and partnerships to build a brand that aims to serve billions. Recently, Aptos Labs invested in the popular Web3 social media platform, Chingari, to utilize Aptos' blockchain technology.

Aptos has a total volume locked (TVL) of $73.54 billion, with Thala Labs dominating 35.03% of the chain TVL. Aptos ($APT) is trading at $12.59, up 3.03% in 24 hours.
