Interlink Wallet Launches Permissionless Perpetuals For Major U.S. Equities

Interlink (@inter_link) wallet @Itlx_defi has officially activated its permissionless perpetuals market, enabling decentralized trading across a broad range of synthetic assets that span both traditional equities and global benchmark indices.

What Is Being Listed

The initial rollout includes perpetual contracts for major U.S. technology companies including $META, $AMD, and $INTC, alongside widely tracked index products $SPY and $QQQ. The deployment also extends coverage to private sector leaders such as $SPCX and semiconductor names $MU and $SKHYNIX, broadening on-chain liquidity well beyond crypto-native tokens.

The move positions Interlink within a fast-growing segment of decentralized finance. Synthetic stock perpetuals are derivative contracts that track the price of traditional equities, allowing traders to gain exposure to stocks without holding the actual shares. In practice, traders connect through crypto wallets, deposit collateral such as USDC or ETH, and open leveraged positions, with all settlement handled on-chain.

A Growing Market for On-Chain Equity Exposure

Interlink's launch arrives as demand for equity perpetuals on decentralized platforms accelerates. Equity perpetuals accounted for nearly 20% of RWA perps market activity of over $75 billion in a single week, according to data source Stork Labs. In May, combined exchange volumes fell 3.45% to $4.41 trillion, the lowest since September 2024, yet RWA perpetual futures volumes rose 10.4% against the trend, hitting a new all-time high.

Equity perpetual futures allow market participants to gain synthetic exposure to traditional equity markets on decentralized venues without relying on brokers or centralized intermediaries. For users, the key practical advantage is straightforward access: on-chain RWA perps are permissionless with wallet-based onboarding, removing the account applications and geographic restrictions that typically accompany traditional brokers and CFD platforms.
