BNB Chain Records $6.7B in bStocks Volume
BNB Chain's bStocks tokenized securities platform has surpassed $6.7 billion in cumulative trading volume, accelerating rapidly from the $2 billion milestone just days earlier as demand for on-chain equities grows.
bStocks Volume Surges Past $6.7 Billion
@BNBChain has confirmed that cumulative trading volume on its bStocks platform has exceeded $6.7 billion, a figure that is all the more striking given the product only crossed the $2 billion milestone days earlier. The pace of growth underlines the scale of demand building around tokenized equities on a high-throughput blockchain network.
bStocks are BEP-20 tokens that represent U.S.-listed equities on a 1:1 basis, backed one-to-one by real U.S. shares held with a regulated custodian and supported by proof-of-collateral verification. The securities are issued by BTech Holdings Limited, a Binance group affiliate, and eligible users can trade bStocks 24/7, hold them on Binance, self-custody them through BNB Chain-compatible wallets, and use them across supported DeFi applications.
Technology stocks make up 71% of bStocks' equity positions, generating 23 times the trading volume of other sectors, with semiconductors alone accounting for 48%. Demographic data also shows that 73% of new users are from emerging markets, with 40% of trade sizes under $100 and 35% of trading volume coming from fractional shares.
A Growing Hub for Tokenized Real-World Assets
The bStocks milestone is part of a broader surge in tokenized assets on @BNBChain. Tokenized real-world asset value on BNB Chain stands at roughly $3.89 billion, the second-highest of any blockchain, spanning Treasuries, money market funds, and equities. The ecosystem now supports more than 709 tokenized stocks and ETFs, offering 24/7 trading access to some of the world's largest public companies and select private-market opportunities.
The network's infrastructure is central to the product's appeal. BNB Chain offers 24/7 trading, transaction costs below $0.01, and finality in around 650 milliseconds. Those characteristics make it practical for frequent, small-value trading of the kind bStocks is already attracting. Supported DeFi protocols include Venus, Lista DAO, and PancakeSwap, where users can lend or provide liquidity using their tokenized assets.
Binance anticipates reaching $10 billion in assets under management on bStocks by the end of 2026.
