Binance US To List $Inj As Token Surges 25%
Binance US enables deposits for Injective's INJ token ahead of spot trading launch on May 14, as INJ surges 25% in 24 hours and 53% over the past week. Native staking support is also confirmed.

@BinanceUS has officially enabled deposits for $INJ, the native token of the @Injective network, with spot trading for the $INJ/$USDT pair set to go live on May 14 at 7 a.m. EDT. The exchange also confirmed that native staking for the Injective network will be integrated shortly after the initial listing goes live.
The announcement has drawn immediate attention from the market. The $INJ token is up more than 25% over the last 24 hours and 53% over the past week, reflecting strong demand heading into the listing.
What Is Injective?
Injective is a Layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for finance, featuring an on-chain order book, sub-second finality, and interoperability across IBC, Ethereum, and Solana ecosystems. Beyond decentralized exchanges, Injective also powers several other decentralized applications, including apps for insurance, prediction markets, and binary options. The protocol has also moved into AI-integrated financial tooling, with Injective's iAgent 2.0 infrastructure bringing on-chain AI-powered agents that can automate or optimize trading strategies and market making.
As the native asset of Injective and its broader ecosystem, $INJ plays a critical role in powering the blockchain, serving as a medium of exchange for transaction fees and Burn Auction bidding, securing the network through staking, and enabling community-led governance. The burn auctions on Injective are particularly notable, as 60% of all fees collected from dApps are auctioned off every week via a buy-back-and-burn mechanism.
Growing Institutional Interest
The @BinanceUS listing adds to a broader wave of institutional momentum around $INJ. In April 2026, the first U.S.-regulated Injective futures launched on Bitnomial Exchange, LLC, the CFTC-regulated designated contract market, giving institutional and retail participants a regulated path to INJ price exposure, hedging, and portfolio construction. Canary Capital has also filed with the SEC for a potential staked INJ ETF, further highlighting growing institutional interest in the ecosystem.
The addition of native staking support on @BinanceUS shortly after listing is notable for existing $INJ holders, as staking allows participants to earn rewards while contributing to network security, with tokens used as collateral in the proof-of-stake consensus mechanism.
