Shiba Inu and SHIB The Metaverse have been invited to the South by Southwest (SXSW) XR Experience at the SXSW 2023 Festival in Austin, Texas.

Badge holders and attendees to the popular music and art festival in Texas will have full access to the VR/AR experience on display in March, according to the January 12 blog post. The Shiba Inu team will showcase its WAGMI (We All Going to Make It) Temple Hub, bringing the Ethereum-based metaverse experience to the festival before public release.

“The invitation of SHIB: The Metaverse to the SXSW XR Experience is a major milestone that shows SHIB is much more than a memecoin,” Marcie Jastrow, Metaverse Advisor to Shiba Token, said in the blog. “SXSW is among the world’s best-known tech and culture conferences. SHIB’s presence at SXSW 2023 will make it easy for people to take part in the Metaverse.”

The SXSW Film and TV Festival is set to happen between March 10 to 19, 2023 in Austin. The festival routinely sees over a quarter million people, representing a great opportunity for Shiba Inu to boost its exposure.

Shiba Inu also confirmed that its team will be on hand to help show festival goers how to navigate the WAGMI Temple and try out crypto tasks like setting up a wallet and buying their first digital lands.
