Pioneers need to perform some tasks and contribute to transitioning from enclosed to open mainnet.
As we all know, Pi Network’s major objective is to transition from enclosed to open mainnet. To achieve this, Pioneers and the Pi community have roles to play.
Pi Network’s Pi day announcement detailed the important tasks Pioneers need to take to speed up the open mainnet launch. According to the publication, users must work for the open mainnet by completing some necessary tasks in the enclosed mainnet.
“In essence, if we want Open Network to come sooner, let’s work for it! Specifically, the network’s maturity and readiness can be prepared by targeting the two concrete Enclosed Network goals mentioned earlier: 1) KYC and Mainnet migration of the network and 2) utility creation and ecosystem building,” the blog read.
The enclosed mainnet focuses on two goals: KYC and mainnet migration of the network & utilities creation and ecosystem building. Unless both goals are complete, open mainnet will not be launched. With this in mind, Pioneers need to complete the following enclosed mainnet tasks to contribute to the open mainnet launch:
Generally, by performing the above tasks, Pioneers can contribute to the enclosed mainnet goals, which will enhance the progress of the open network.
Pi Network is a mobile mining blockchain with an application that lets people earn Pi coins by doing simple tasks on their phones. However, the project remains in its development stage with delivery of an open mainnet still a matter of speculation, with no launch date confirmed.
With this in mind, the protocol remains in its testnet stage and will apparently go live when many users (Pioneers) complete the mandatory KYC procedure while the core team works on developing its ecosystem.
Pi Network is also reported to be under investigation by authorities in Vietnam and users should exercise a high degree of caution when interacting with the project and ensure they have conducted sufficient research before doing so.
