PancakeSwap Uses Celer Network to Forge Cross-chain DEX with Ethereum and Aptos

PancakeSwap Flexes Celer’s IM Framework

A month after launching Decentralized Finance (DeFi) products on the Aptos Network, PancakeSwap has joined forces with Celer Network to use its Inter-Chain Messaging (Celer IM) framework to enable cross-chain liquidity farming.

Along with Aptos integration, PancakeSwap’s Chef Berries explained in a Nov. 14 Medium post that users can enjoy Ethereum as well. Users can now bridge assets seamlessly between BNB Chain, Aptos, and Ethereum using PancakeSwap. The move is a major step for the largest Decentralized Exchange (DEX) that should open the floodgates to cross-chain asset movement into all three chains.

“PancakeSwap aims to recreate the same smooth BNB Chain user experience on Ethereum and Aptos,” Chef Berries wrote. “Following its effort to launch cross-chain liquidity farming on Ethereum, PancakeSwap has recently expanded to the Aptos blockchain by deploying swaps, liquidity, and soon farms, pools, and initial farm offerings features.”

Celer Network’s technology helps developers and users both build and expand onto the different chains. Using Celer IM’s SDK lets developers build compatible cross-chain products while users will get the same easy UI they are familiar with from using PancakeSwap.
