Litecoin Summit to Take Place in Amsterdam, June 22-23

The Litecoin Foundation is bringing its annual summit to Europe for the first time. Litecoin Summit 2026 will take place in Amsterdam on June 22-23, marking a significant expansion for an event that has stayed stateside since launching in 2018.

The two-day gathering will be held at the Tobacco Theater, a historic venue in central Amsterdam. It also serves as the official kickoff to Dutch Blockchain Week, putting Litecoin front and center at Europe's premier Web3 event.

What's on the Agenda?

The summit focuses on themes the Litecoin community has pushed since day one: privacy, financial freedom, censorship resistance, sound money, and real-world crypto adoption.

Attendees can expect speaking sessions, panel discussions, interactive workshops, breakout rooms, and exhibitor spaces. The Litecoin Foundation designed the event to bring together developers, policymakers, and cypherpunks to hash out where the industry goes next.

The full speaker lineup has not been announced yet, but applications are open for those who want to present. Based on past events, expect names from privacy tech, policy, and infrastructure.

Who Spoke at Last Year's Summit?

The 2025 summit in Las Vegas featured over 40 speakers. Charlie Lee, Litecoin's creator and Foundation director, delivered his annual "State of the Coin" address. Other speakers included Jameson Lopp (Casa co-founder and CTO), Alan Austin (Litecoin Foundation Managing Director), Adam McBride (Emblem Vault), Eleanor Terrett, Steve McClurg, and David Schwartz.

Topics ranged from privacy and regulation to institutional adoption and ecosystem development. The Amsterdam edition will likely follow a similar format with European-focused discussions added to the mix.

Two-day passes start at €84. That includes access to all sessions, workshops, networking events, and beverages. Payment options include Bitcoin or Litecoin through Coinbase, or fiat currency via Eventbrite.
