Ice Prepares for Launch 

Ice is the latest digital currency in the industry that users can mine with their mobile phones! The protocol draws comparisons with the top mining platform, Pi Network, and is set for its official launch on April 4. 

According to the protocol’s socials, the team is in the final testing stage before the official launch on the scheduled date. The Ice pre-release test version went live on March 24, and users could download the application on only Android devices. As of writing, the application is still unavailable for IOS users. However, the protocol disclosed on March 23 that IOS users could utilize the app via a web version if Apple fails to approve it. 

“For iOS, we are still waiting on @Apple to approve our app. If, for some reason, Apple will not approve the app in time for 4th April, iOS users will be able to use a mobile web light version,” Ice wrote on Telegram. 

Ahead of the official launch, the team has made significant progress during the final stages of testing. During the test, the application will be down for a while on March 3, which will foster the launch if everything goes well. 

“To facilitate these tests, our system will be down for a short period today. If everything goes well, we'll be on track for our release tomorrow at 4:04 AM GMT+4,” Ice wrote.
