As Ice Open Network (ION) nears the public rollout of its Online+ decentralized social media dApp, community discussions reflect high anticipation, with users speculating about launch timelines, potential integrations with partners, and the platform's role in driving token value through utilities.

Amid this buildup, ION has focused on refining Online+ through beta testing, addressing user feedback on performance and features to ensure stability and reliability. Like we do every week, today’s article explores ION ecosystem updates from August 22 to August 27, 2025, covering security validations, technical fixes, and integrations.

CertiK Skynet Validation for ION

Starting with the most recent update on August 26, 2025, CertiK announced that Ice Blockchain achieved a Skynet Score of 91.96, earning an AA rating. CertiK's Skynet system analyzes security, market performance, and community aspects, providing a comprehensive view of project risks. This assessment included a Gold-level verification for the team.

The platform ranked first in the X-To-Earn category, second in Privacy, and 59th overall among cryptocurrencies. The evaluation highlighted ION's DAO governance structure and its design, which focuses on privacy in decentralized infrastructure.

For ION, this score reflects its emphasis on secure, user-controlled data handling and transparent operations. The privacy ranking stems from features that enable encrypted communications and data sovereignty, while the X-To-Earn position relates to its reward systems for user engagement.

Online+ Beta Progress and Bulletin Details

The Online+ beta saw refinements in its latest bulletin on August 25, 2025. ION Product Lead Yuliia provided the update. In the overview, Yuliia noted that August's focus shifted to stabilization. The team addressed issues in Wallet, Chat, Feed, and Profile modules to ensure consistent performance across devices.

Wallet changes fixed incorrect BTC fee displays, SNOW decimal errors, NFT search problems, and token balance inaccuracies. Chat improvements included smoother reactions, faster media processing, and resolutions for text overlaps and timestamps. Feed enhancements covered video playback, poll functionality, repost logic, and scrolling efficiency. Profile fixes involved search functions, display consistency, and interaction errors.

"This past week, our focus has been on the Feed and Profile — tackling every report from the team, content creators, and our amazing beta testers, and fine-tuning until everything is just right,” Yuliia stated. “The work we’ve done on testnet environments has paid off, and that stability will carry directly into production. It feels like we’ve crossed an important line — from chasing fixes to standing on solid ground."
