Ice Network Delivers Update After Delay in Official Launch

Official Launch Delayed as Team Testing Continues

Ice Network’s official launch and global currency scheduled for April 4 did not go as planned. Following the delay, the Ice team updated Snowmen (miners) about the problem encountered and the team’s efforts in making progress with the official launch. 

According to the team’s statement on Twitter, the delay was because some problems were detected during the testing stage. As BSC News reported on April 3, Ice Network would launch only if there is significant progress with the final testing stage. However, the problems detected required some changes in its infrastructure and more. 

After detecting the problems, the mining process was halted, with many users complaining about their inability to mine more ICE coins. The team stated that it was all part of the ongoing update and that everyone’s balance would be reset before the official launch. In the meantime, teams and referrals remain intact on the ICE mobile application. 

When asked about the new date for the official launch, the Ice team disclosed that it would depend on the process of rewriting the code, as it needs to be properly tested this time around. Regardless, the team is working on ensuring that the process is quick. 

“At the moment, we don't have any estimate as we are doing also code changes which require the business logic to be properly tested. We are trying to make it as fast as possible,” Ice wrote on Twitter. 

Ice is yet to announce a new date for the official launch, but as the team has addressed the community, they are working tirelessly to deliver a secure and trusted decentralized ecosystem for users in the long run.
