Floki announced a strategic partnership that aims to significantly increase its visibility. Valhalla, an MMORPG spin on the classic creature-collection adventure, will be the Associate Sponsor for India’s Tour of Sri Lanka.
This collaboration will showcase Valhalla through high-visibility assets such as mid-wicket pitch mats, ground LED boards, and backdrops.
The series promises to be a major event, following India's historic T20 World Cup win. The tour begins with back-to-back T20 Internationals on July 27 and will continue with the ODI series starting on August 1, with matches held every two days. This lineup is set to attract between 180 to 220 million viewers, underscoring the immense anticipation for these games.
Fans in Sri Lanka can watch all the action on Siyatha TV and Dialog (Sony Ten), while the Sony Sports Network and Sony Liv App will bring the excitement to viewers in India.
This initiative is designed to enhance Valhalla’s visibility, reaching an extensive audience through prominent on-ground assets. Cricket's broad appeal offers an excellent platform for Valhalla, mirroring the game’s ability to unite fans from diverse backgrounds.
Floki recently sponsored the Women’s Cricket Asia Cup 2024, highlighting cricket's growing popularity. This collaboration is set to enhance Valhalla’s visibility, reaching a broad audience through assets such as Boundary Rope, Perimeter Boards, Mid-Wicket Logo Mat, and Backdrop.
The Women’s Asia Cup 2024, hosted by Sri Lanka from July 19th to July 28th, features 15 matches with the top 8 cricketing teams from Asia. The tournament will be played in the highly popular Twenty20 format. The matches will be broadcast live on Star Sports and other global partners, ensuring widespread coverage and engagement.
Valhalla provides gamers with an immersive, player-driven world, powered by $FLOKI, set in a vibrant, Norse mythology-inspired universe.
The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region is reportedly crucial for Valhalla, being a hub of rapid economic growth and digital adoption. The APAC region is the fastest-growing market for online gaming, with over 1.4 billion gamers. Play-to-Earn games are gaining immense popularity due to their innovative blend of gaming and earning opportunities.
Last June, Floki announced plans to establish a school in India, part of its ongoing educational initiatives. The platform has already built successful projects in Ghana, Guatemala, Laos, and Nigeria.
Additionally, in June, crypto trading firm DWF Labs announced plans to buy $12 million worth of Floki (FLOKI) tokens from the open market and the Floki treasury. This follows DWF Labs' purchase of $10 million worth of FLOKI tokens in February, which resulted in a 50% jump in FLOKI prices the following week.
