Smart contract oracle network Chainlink partnered with a Polygon large-order DEX and a BNB Chain decentralized yield aggregator.
Did you think Chainlink was going to take the week off? Not bloody likely! This week the dominant smart contract oracle network partnered with a large-order Decentralized Exchange (DEX) on Polygon and a decentralized yield aggregator on BNB Chain.
In this week’s roundup:
Akron Finance has joined the Chainlink BUILD Program to accelerate ecosystem growth and long-term usage of Akron Crossing Network.
“We’re excited to be joining the Chainlink BUILD program to gain access to industry-standard oracle services and technical support. The BUILD program will help empower us to build a crossing network that can execute more large trading orders in DeFi,” Akron Finance Co-Founder Tony said in a Medium post. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration together and we welcome the passionate Chainlink community into the Akron Finance ecosystem.”
Akron Crossing Network is a DEX, currently on Polygon, geared toward traders who want to execute large orders and prioritize better execution price over an immediate fill.
As part of BUILD, Akron Finance will receive access to products like Price Feeds and Automation, as well as new Chainlink product alpha and beta releases.
In return, Akron Finance has committed 5% of its total token supply to Chainlink service providers, including stakers.
Bolide has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds to power its decentralized yield aggregator on BNB Chain.
“Chainlink Price Feeds are a staple of the DeFi ecosystem and the industry standard for DeFi protocols that rely on price data. Bolide Finance is no exception, and we’re thrilled to leverage best-in-class price data infrastructure to help power our current operations and future expansions,” Bolide Finance Co-Founder 0xBid said in a blog post.

Last four editions:
Chainlink is the industry standard for building, accessing, and selling oracle services needed to power hybrid smart contracts on any blockchain. Chainlink oracle networks provide smart contracts with a way to reliably connect to any external API and leverage secure off-chain computations for enabling feature-rich applications. They currently secure tens of billions of dollars across DeFi, insurance, gaming, and other major industries and offer global enterprises and leading data providers a universal gateway to all blockchains.
