Carbon Browser has hit a landmark figure as the team unveils the Project and Browser Roadmap detailing the journey ahead.
Decentralized Web3 Browser Carbon has achieved a remarkable feat, surpassing 5.7M+ users just after seven days of launching its token $CSIX. This milestone reflects the rapid growth of the web3 browser and the community's trust in decentralization. The team at Carbon has also revealed the roadmap, outlining its plans for the future and highlighting the significant developments and events on the horizon. This includes the launch of new features and partnerships that will further enhance the platform’s capabilities and expand its user base.
The Carbon browser is a privacy-focused and high-performing Web3 browser that is currently available for Android devices and will soon be available for iOS, Mac OS, and PC. Developed by Carbon X Labs, it is a free and open-source web browser that uses a custom fork of the Chromium web browser and the powerful Blink engine. With default online ad and website tracker blocking, the Carbon browser loads web pages three times faster and saves up to 95% of user data while taking up to 56.7% less space compared to competitors.
Exciting Benefits of the Carbon Browser include:
The new Carbon roadmap includes timelines for $CSIX new CEX listing, iOS App Testnet Launch, Mac OS and PC App Testnet Launch, BrowseToEarn Rewards Program, Annual Burn $CSIX Burn Events, and more.
Carbon is built around its utility and governance token $CSIX (BEP-20), which allows holders to shape the future of the platform via the community governance DAO as well as upgrade users to Carbon Pro, offering enhanced privacy, greater AdBlock, and better rewards distribution. The platform’s token reward distribution algorithm is built in such a way that it auto-adjusts based on user demand. Aside Carbon Pro, Carbon has a growing list of partner networks where token rewards can be spent, including Amazon and selected charities.
Carbon also features an in-built staking dashboard where $CSIX holders can stake their tokens and earn rewards. The staking pools range from 60 - 180 days, with up to 15% APY.
Future iterations of the Carbon browser will come with features such as swap, bridge, NFT gallery, phishing protection, and more in 2023.
To further facilitate greater access to DeFi, Carbon has partnered with multichain yield optimizer Beefy to launch a new CSIX-CAKE Beefy vault on BNB Chain, allowing users to compound their $CSIX directly with Beefy.

Carbon is also working with top industry players such as Akash Network, Polygon Edge, and BNB Chain partners Particle Wallet. By collaborating with such players, Carbon is making significant strides to bring Web3 browsing to the masses.
