BNB Chain Ends 2022 With 87% Unique Address Growth

BNB Chain now has the most addresses of any blockchain outside of Bitcoin.

BNB Chain Addresses Grow 87%

BNB Chain ended 2022 with 236 million unique addresses, an 87% growth from the 126 million on January 1, 2022. Bitcoin, with its over 1 billion addresses, still reigns supreme among all blockchain networks.

Fantom and Optimism both showed the most growth percentage, according to a tweet from Coin98. Both Fantom and Optimism saw over 1000% address growth.

In 2022, BNB Chain surpassed Ethereum for blockchain with the most addresses outside of Bitcoin. BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Polygon are the only blockchains with over 200 million addresses.
