Women in Web3 BNB Chain

BNB Chain has announced two new initiatives centered around the mentorship of women in Web3 set to debut in March. The initiatives coordinate well with Women’s History Month which marks the month of July.

The two new initiatives will be called WWW Founders and WWW Learners, focusing on the empowerment of both current and future leaders in the Web3 space, according to a press release shared with BSC News. BNB Chain will use its industry leverage to bring female leaders as mentors, led by Kirthiga Reddy, the CEO and CoFounder at Virtualness, who is partnered with the WWW Founders program on 28 March 2023.

“We are thrilled to launch the Web3WonderWomen Mentorship program and provide a platform for female leaders in the industry to mentor the next generation of female talent," Gwendolyn Regina, Investment Director at BNB Chain said. "Our goal is to create a supportive and empowering community for women in Web3, and we believe this program will play a significant role in achieving this.”

The program is looking to support women entering and engaging in Web3 at all levels. WWW Learners hopes to attract recent graduates and new entrants to the space, while WWW Founders will bring prominent leaders to help mentor the future leaders of the space.
