InterLink DAO picks Balanced Growth conversion ratio ahead of mainnet

InterLink DAO Proposal 16 has closed with the Balanced Growth option selected, locking in the ITLG-to-ITL conversion model and vesting schedule ahead of the project's mainnet launch.

InterLink DAO picks Balanced Growth conversion ratio ahead of mainnet

DAO Selects Balanced Growth Model for Token Conversion

@inter_link's DAO Proposal 16 has closed, with the community voting in favour of Option 2, the "Balanced Growth" conversion framework. The result locks in how $ITLG will convert into $ITL ahead of the project's mainnet launch, settling one of the most consequential tokenomic decisions the network has put to a vote.

The proposal was built around three options generated by machine learning models, each designed to balance competing priorities: scarcity, total supply management, and protection against price manipulation. Holders voted on which to implement, and the Balanced Growth option carried the day.

The conversion rate scales with how long a holder is prepared to lock their position. At the most flexible end, 60 $ITLG converts to 1 $ITL with no lock and no vesting period attached. A two-year lock combined with a 36-month vesting schedule brings that ratio down to 21.25 $ITLG per 1 $ITL. The most committed holders, those willing to accept a five-year lock plus a 60-month vesting period, receive the most favourable rate of 1.875 $ITLG to 1 $ITL. The structure is straightforward: longer commitment means greater scarcity exposure and a better conversion ratio.

Smart Contracts Enforce the Schedule, With No Override

Importantly, $ITLG holdings themselves remain freely usable throughout. Only the portion a holder elects to convert into $ITL becomes subject to the chosen lock and vesting schedule. One hundred percent of existing vITLG and $ITLG holdings will be migrated through phased rollouts.

Once a position is locked, the terms are enforced entirely by smart contract. No retroactive changes are possible, and the team has no ability to alter the payout schedule after the fact. At the core of the InterLink DAO is the principle that community input is foundational, with all major initiatives subject to DAO proposals and votes. That philosophy extends to the enforcement model here: on-chain rules, not team discretion, govern the outcome.

$ITLG serves as the genesis token, earned through mining by verified humans, and governs the InterLink DAO, while $ITL is the core utility and strategic token structured for integration with ecosystem partners and institutions. The conversion framework approved in Proposal 16 is the mechanism that bridges the two, giving holders a clear and binding path from one to the other as the network moves closer to its public launch.
