Xrp Flips $Bnb In Market Cap Again

$XRP has overtaken $BNB to reclaim the fourth spot in global cryptocurrency rankings by market capitalisation, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

The move marks another chapter in an ongoing battle for position between the two assets, which have traded places in the rankings multiple times over recent months. $XRP has gained approximately 7% over the past seven days, helping to drive the latest flip.

Ripple's token has seen renewed investor interest in 2025, supported in part by improving sentiment around the legal dispute between Ripple and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as broader optimism around potential crypto-friendly regulatory changes in the United States. $BNB, the native token of the BNB Chain and the Binance exchange ecosystem, remains a close competitor and continues to hold significant utility across its platform.

As of the time of writing, $XRP sits fourth by market cap behind $BTC, $ETH, and $USDT, based on CoinMarketCap rankings.
