Bitcoin Season Holds As Select Names Break Out
$BTC dominance sits at 58.5% heading into the new week, with the CoinMarketCap Altcoin Season Index reading 34 out of 100, keeping the market firmly in Bitcoin Season territory.
A handful of tokens are bucking the broader trend. $XRP's SuperTrend indicator flipped bullish on Saturday for the first time since January, with $1.55 emerging as the critical level to clear for further upside. $SOL is trading near $88, with spot Solana ETF assets under management crossing the $1 billion mark. $BNB is holding above $625 following @BNBCHAIN's 35th quarterly token burn, which removed roughly $1.02 billion worth of tokens from circulation.
Not everything is pointing higher. $AAVE dropped around 10% after reports surfaced that lending markets on @aave had been frozen in response to a $292 million exploit linked to @KelpDAO. The incident has added a layer of caution to sentiment across decentralised finance markets heading into the week.
