U.S. Ppi Hits Two-Year High In March
U.S. Producer Price Index (PPI) inflation surged to 4.0% in March, marking its highest level in two years.
While the figure represents a multi-year high, it actually came in notably below the 4.7% consensus forecast.
Month-over-month growth also cooled to 0.5%, beating expectations of a sharper 1.1% increase.
