Aptos Unveils Major Tokenomics Overhaul With Supply Cap
Aptos (@Aptos) has announced sweeping changes to its tokenomics structure.
Staking rewards have been reduced, with APY now set at 2.6%.
Gas fees on the network have been increased by up to 10 times.
A hard cap of 2.1 billion $APT tokens has been introduced.
The foundation will also permanently lock 210 million APT tokens.
