Goldman Sachs Taps Anthropic'S Mythos To Shore Up Cyber Defenses

Goldman Sachs (@GoldmanSachs) CEO David Solomon confirmed the bank is working directly with @AnthropicAI and using its new Mythos model to supplement cyber and infrastructure resilience.

The move follows last week's urgent meeting at the US Treasury, where Scott Bessent and Jerome Powell warned major bank CEOs about the risks posed by Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview.

Mythos is a frontier model capable of finding and exploiting software vulnerabilities at a level that surpasses most human researchers. Anthropic has limited its release through Project Glasswing, a coalition including JPMorgan, Apple, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia.

Solomon's confirmation marks the first public acknowledgement from a Wall Street CEO that a major bank is actively deploying the model internally.
