Cftc Chairman Vows Crackdown On Manipulation In U.S. Markets
@CFTC Chairman, Mike Selig (@ChairmanSelig) has declared a zero-tolerance policy against market manipulation across all asset classes.
The agency is aggressively policing underlying markets ranging from sports and politics to traditional commodities like grains.
Seliq emphasized that the federal regulator will take decisive action against any "bad actors" to ensure market integrity remains intact.
"Whether the underlying is sports, politics, or grains, we take our role as the federal regulator seriously. Under my leadership, there is no tolerance for bad actors in our markets," he said.
