Bithumb Takes Legal Action Over Missing Bitcoin
South Korean exchange Bithumb has launched legal proceedings to recover 7 Bitcoin still missing after a payout error.
The mistake occurred during a February promotional event.
A system input error led to an accidental over-distribution. Most funds were quickly reversed within minutes.
However, some users had already moved assets off platform. The exchange is now pursuing recovery through the courts.
