Ambitious BNB Chain stableswap Wombat Exchange is launching on Arbitrum One on April 5, and the three WOM Wars yield-boosting protocols are coming with it.

The March 27 announcement from Wombat Exchange fulfills the team’s promise to drop “bombshell news” and confirms the hints that had been dropped by the project and its founder Alex Lee.

According to a Medium post from Wombat Exchange:

“We’re bringing our hyper-efficient stableswap experience to all Arbinauts, enabling users to swap stablecoins with minimum slippage and provide single-sided liquidity. In addition to this, we are bringing the entire Wombat ecosystem, including Convex forks namely Wombex, Magpie, and Quoll, to Arbitrum, further expanding our reach and providing even more opportunities for our users.”

The team said BNB Chain will continue to be Wombat’s primary focus, even as the Decentralized Exchange (DEX) has plans to expand to multiple Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible blockchains, including Polygon, Optimism, Fantom and Avalanche.

Wombat aims to bring similar features from its BNB Chain platform to Arbitrum, including $WOM locking and the voting gauge.

The stableswap DEX goes live on Arbitrum at 6 a.m. UTC on April 5, beginning with the listing of main pools $USDT, $USDC and $DAI.

In response to Wombat Exchange’s post, one of the yield-boosting platforms Quoll Finance said, “Wherever #Wombat goes, #Quoll follows💙” and then teased a “surprise” of its own.
