Is Wombat Exchange’s multichain expansion about to begin with Arbitrum? Or is the big news something else?
Stableswap Wombat Exchange is promising to bring the thunder, teasing “Bombshell news” to arrive on March 27. Could it be the beginning of the BNB Chain protocol’s massive multichain expansion?
There’s no telling for sure, but Wombat Exchange Founder Alex Lee recently tweeted a greeting to the Arbitrum blockchain, along with a screenshot of custom .arb domain names for the Decentralized Exchange (DEX) and his own Twitter handle.
Aside from Arbitrum, the Wombat Exchange roadmap calls for expanding to Polygon, Optimism, Fantom and Avalanche.
Whatever the specific announcement on March 27 is, the project team is playing it up big on Twitter, saying, “Our lives mean nothing next to a storm that’s coming...storm that @WombatExchange will bring 🌪️💙”
Wombat Exchange is currently the number two ranked DEX on BNB Chain with nearly $285 million in swap volume in the past week (and then number 12 DEX on all blockchains), according to DefiLlama.
Wombat Exchange is a multi-chain stableswap focused on fueling DeFi growth and promoting its product’s scalability, accessibility, and efficiency in the multi-chain space. The protocol allows users to swap stablecoins at minimal slippage and stake at maximum yield.
