C-Stage is poised to be the first-ever concert of Dream Idols, as they prepare to spearhead the future of the Web3 entertainment industry.
Dream Idols, a metaverse entertainment hub designed for decentralized Web3 communities, has set an official release date for their first-ever online concert.
The concert, dubbed “C-Stage”, will be the first in a series of online showings for the Dream Idols project, and is set to begin on March 24 at 11:00 AM UTC.
The concert will be available to view on Android and Quest VR devices. Fans are also invited to enjoy the concert for free on Twitch, YouTube, and media sponsor BSC.News, but with limited participation abilities.
The team has also released a new teaser showcasing the concert's first virtual idol, Andal.
Limited ticket sales have already begun on the Dream Idols platform. The project's main site has also received a major update, featuring new apps developed by the team to support the project.
Contestants for the March 24 concert were decided by an entirely decentralized “FanFi” election process on the Dream Idols platform, with idol trainees Kinkins and Carmen winning the fan vote.
Fan elections, VR concerts, and new apps are just the first steps in a long roadmap of planned features for the Dream Idols project.
By bringing together cutting-edge VR, motion capture, and edge computing technologies, the Dream Idols project is establishing a strong foundation for future project developments. Multiple DApps are already in the works, such as FANS, ROOM, and SHOW, that will act as social hubs for different parts of the Dream Idols project.
