Sunflower Land Public Beta Reaches Maximum Capacity

With Beta reaching capacity, the community is excited as this means the official launch of Sunflower Land is drawing near.

Sunflower Land on Polygon

The beta version of Sunflower Land, a PlayAndOwn blockchain game on the Polygon network, is officially full and newcomers need to wait in order to access the game.

The team has built an organic community and added new features, like cake baking and goblin wars, to keep players engaged. Now that all public farms have been minted on the blockchain, players will need to wait before being able to plant their sunflowers.

“We always intended for Beta to be a closed group - we just never anticipated that the group would be so large,” Sunflower Land advisor, Steve Woody, told BSCNews. “We decided to close it officially because we’re close to our launch and feel it would be unfair for a new player [who will have to] restart in a couple of weeks. Better to ensure they get a decent onboarding experience even if that means a slight delay.”

The Sunflower Land community is also looking forward to other new features such as farm expansion and dynamic profile picture NFTs.

“In our recent meeting, we touched on how incredible the journey has been this last year and how no one could imagine where we are today,” Woody said. “We have evolved, the project has evolved and the entire crypto space has started to evolve. We are very excited to see what challenges this next chapter brings.”

What Is Polygon:

Polygon (formerly known as MATIC) is a Ethereum-based Layer-2 protocol that tackles the fundamental high gas fee and congestion issues of the Ethereum blockchain. The effectiveness of Polygon as an alternative to generic Ethereum has seen existing projects such as Aave, Curve adopting its chain.

What is Sunflower Land:

Sunflower land is a farming simulation PlayToOwn blockchain gaming project built on the Polygon network. It is a metaverse that reflects real-life economic principles of supply and demand, with an in-game mechanic that makes resources more scarce over time. In addition, it is a community-developed project where each item in the game can be owned on the Polygon chain, enabling users to collect valuable NFTs and trade them on platforms like OpenSea.
